An IWC Update From Bratty Nikki

Hey everyone, it’s Bratty Nikki here, co-owner of iWantClips.com. I’m writing this to address the recent questions and concerns regarding the percentage change on clips only from 70% to 60%.

First and foremost, I would like to truly apologize from the bottom of my heart for the short notice. If we could have given you more notice, we would have. This news was not going to go over well with some people no matter how much notice we gave, so it’s kind of like ripping off a Band-Aid…let’s get it over with so we can positively move forward.

I think the most important question everyone has is…why?
Simply put, we can use that 10% of extra operating capital for improving the site and alleviating complaints. I think everyone would agree the main complaint with the site is late payouts and fixing that is our #1 concern.

We get our money from the merchant accounts in batches. If you’ve never had your own merchant account (especially one processing large sums), you might not be aware of this and how it affects cash flow. Occasionally, the merchant account will unexpectedly hold additional funds they find suspicious. Or decide they need to raise our reserve with zero notice. And of course, there are always chargebacks to deal with which is just an unfortunate part of the adult business. When we get hit with a huge one, it can really mess with cash flow and therefore timely payouts. Changing to 60% on clips allows us a larger financial cushion to cover these unexpected expenses and get payouts back on track quickly. We believe artists would rather receive 60% on time and get tips/tributes increased to 80% permanently!

Furthermore, we have put more back into the community from the beginning and taken better care of our artists than any other site. Wouldn’t you like to see what IWC can do with 10% extra operating capital?! I promise you will be impressed.

So what is IWC going to do with the extra 10%?
Well there is only so much of our business plan that we can divulge, but it will be put into marketing and development. As an artist myself, I have a lot more money making ideas to increase all of your incomes, but developing them takes time and money.

We are very focused on bringing up new stores as well as up and coming artists and helping them build their brands. I can’t share many details here, but we want to help you make more money faster and get you more visibility. I do realize as the site has grown, visibility is harder to get. The first year or 2 I could easily hit the top selling clips, but now it is rare even for me as an established artist! I hear your frustrations and guarantee our team is working to improve visibility.

Sponsorships, contests, marketing and entertaining are essential to business success in any industry. We will be doing more of this and are really looking forward to helping everyone make more money! We didn’t become the most favorited clip site by so many top artists, grow super fast and help people earn more money than ever seen in this industry because we have bad business instincts!! Far from it!!!

Is IWC having financial issues?
This is a completely untrue rumor. It just costs a lot more to run the company now as more artists & members join. Our cloud storage is a favorite amongst customers and keeps our operating costs a lot higher than the other sites you are fine with earning 60% on.

We are restructuring and investing more in the company with the goal of growing by 25% over the next two years. We would rather pay our artists 60% of $1000 ($600), than 70% of $750 ($525). Our gross revenue shows continuous upward trajectory with no signs of slowing down.

What’s up with some artists earning a higher percentage?
Yes we have a small group of influential artists (our model team) that agreed to assist & promote the site in its early days for a higher percentage. We intend to honor our original and legally binding contracts with them as that is how we do business. They took a chance on us, brought their customers over and continue to do so, which many many artists continue to benefit from.

I promise you, every business has some influencers that are paid a higher percentage. This is business, not personal and it is a benefit to you, especially if you are a smaller artist. Some of those customers are your customers now! A new artist can see immediate sales thanks to the fantastic customer base these influential artists helped us build. They have paved the way for you to make more money more easily. The top stores on IWC earn more than the top stores on any other site.

How does this affect the Top 100 List?
It doesn’t. The Top 100 is based on gross sales, not net earnings. In fact, right now on the current Top 100, only 14 artists out of the Top 100 happen to be on our model team.

What about payouts and fees for international models?
We have heard your complaints about international fees, especially how they affect smaller artists. We are working on a solution and will announce the update once finalized.

Will my account be closed for speaking out about my concerns?
We welcome your feedback and will not close your store for addressing them to us, whether private or public. While we do prefer artists to contact us via ArtistExperience@iwantclips.com for any questions or concerns, artists that are seen to repeatedly threaten and harass the site or its owners will not be welcomed on IWC. We reserve the right to close your store if it becomes evident it is no longer a good business fit. These decisions are not personal, but based on what is best for the success of the business and its artists and fans.

Why are you popping bottles in the club when my payout is late?
I know we get some flack for this at times and I’m happy to address this loud and clear. Payouts have only slowed in the last 5 months and are corrected as we speak. IWC is a luxury brand that has been sharing the Dom Perignon love with their artists for 4 years. We do this at company events 2-3 times a year. This is part of our marketing budget and does not come from the same account as payouts. A lot of the Dom P you see on my timeline has been purchased personally by me from my earnings as an artist and other investments.

Dom Perignon is actually very personal to me. At 8 or 9 years old, I remember my father reading Robb Report magazine (no we were not rich at all, but he wanted me to dream big) and telling me Dom Perignon is THE BEST champagne. I knew I wanted the best out of life because I did not have it. I was willing to work hard and hustle my ass off to get it though and I still do.  On one of my first dates with my husband (long before we knew of this scene), he ordered a bottle of Dom without even knowing my fondness for it and OMG my eyes lit up so big as I fell deeper in love with him. Like yep, this is the man I’m going to marry!

Every happy celebration in my life has been marked by a bottle of Dom Perignon long before the site, long before we could  afford it and had to save up to buy a bottle. When I was a baby stripper, I noticed all the big spenders ordered Dom Perignon. I used my love of it to boost Bratty Nikki as a luxury brand. It paid off for Bratty Nikki and pays off for IWC…we have the highest spending customers on any site, point blank.

It is an absolute pleasure and brings joy to my heart to share my favorite indulgence with so many incredible artists and all of you are invited to celebrate with us at AVN 2019!

How can we trust IWC now after the late payouts and pay cut on clips?
We are the first and only site that is for artists by artists. We will always put you first. This business move is part of putting you first and I ask you to please try to look at this from a business perspective. We’ve always made artists our priority. We also have the best highest spending customers of any site and will continue to grow that customer base. And if that doesn’t reassure you, we ask that you simply wait and watch.

Thank you for your feedback, support and understanding.

Much love,
Nikki and the IWC Team
