slaveboysmith: Today at DommeAddiction, I am joined by a woman that understands as well as any how to make men behave exactly as she wishes them to. The beautiful and talented Mistress Daria is the focus of today’s feature interview, and I have to say, it is a privilege to kneel before you today Mistress, and I am somewhat relieved you aren’t holding that wicked looking paddle in your hand that I saw in a recent tweet!
Mistress Daria: I don’t really need a paddle, so don’t get ahead of yourself!
sbs: I get the sense that strict is not always necessary and that sensual can be just as effective for a beautiful Mistress like yourself 🙂 Can you please share a little of how you started out in Femdom and what experiences along the way have made you the Mistress you are today?
MD: I have been involved in Femdom from a very young age. It was only in becoming a professional in 2001 that I began to see what I had been doing all along. My personality tends toward control and My best self is the manifestation of inner power. I find the idea of Femdom to be a very quaint and subtle variation of real world power and it’s obvious bent toward creativity is intellectually stimulating for Me. I do constantly differentiate what I perceive dominance in the world to be as opposed to the very dreamlike and imaginary quality of the session room. That being said, there are common elements and liaisons of course. Great art always imitates life. I think what created Me as the professional Dominant I am today, was a need for My presence, a sort of calling if you will. I’ve been fortunate to be blessed with several great teachers and mentors. I’ve learned immensely from My submissives as well.
sbs: How would you describe a typical session style for you when in your dungeon? Are there hallmark fetishes that you particularly enjoy and incorporate regularly?
MD: “A typical session” is a strange turn of phrase since it’s rare that two sessions are ever the same. I don’t script anything. But I do have My favorites. I love heavy bondage, role play, foot fetish, cross dressing, anal, CBT, spanking/impact play and leather sessions. My second level favorites are latex, watersports, medical, puppy training, piercings, humiliation, wrestling and kidnap/interrogation sessions. My only hard limits are blood, scat, children /age play, rape, live animal and murder role play scenes or real blackmail. I’m very open and love learning about new fetishes. It’s important to Me that I truly understand the psychology of the individual/s I’m playing with.
sbs: That certainly provides a wide array of options to explore in session Mistress. Can you describe how it feels for you to have complete control over a slave while in session?
MD: Simply put, it’s intoxicating!
sbs: Is there an equivalent to sub space for you as a Domme? That moment when the conquest and control come together and you can feel the vulnerability of your slave and the control you have?
MD: There is a top space for Me. I don’t perceive it as a conquest, however. My experience is more feminine than the warrior like scenario you suggest. While a male perspective, or to be more accurate and leave gender out… a more aggravated or aggressive stance is understandable and understood to be part of My experience at times, that is not how I would describe it. There is no conquest. My subs seek Me and honor Me with the gift of submission as we form a perfect union of opposite energies becoming one whole. The conquest you describe has been necessary for survival at times throughout My life because of conflict. But I do not welcome conflict into My inner chambers. Those who serve Me lay down their ego to form union with Me and I respect that as something sacred and I sacrifice a part of My ego simultaneously so that I can experience the vastness of that space in the truth of the reality we co-create. All that to say…If I’m trying to conquer you …. you definitely want to have your clothes on.
sbs: Would you then describe your style as more sensual or strict? Somewhere in between?
MD: Both at the same time.
sbs: Can you share an example of each style that you particularly recall from a recent session Mistress?
MD: That’s not a clear question in My mind. I only have one style. It is both strict and stern. I’m a sensual and sexual person. So I don’t have different masks. I am consistently Myself without a break in continuity, excepting perhaps the instance of a very specific role play, but even then My style overpowers the role every time as I interpret that scene. I only have one style and I like to think it’s well rounded.
sbs: From the way your submissives speak of you that is obviously the case. You’re also very obviously a strikingly beautiful woman. Does your dominance over men extend beyond the dungeon into your everyday life? If so, has it become an expected routine that men will be in awe of you, or is there still a thrill for you knowing the impact you have on any man you encounter?
MD: This made Me chuckle. No the sparkle of watching a man stumble over himself has not gotten old and I doubt it ever will. I tend to be in control of Myself in all situations. There are men who test the boundaries in the vanilla world and I’m always prompt to reiterate that my demeanor was not mistaken by them visually if they seem confused and call Me darlin’ or in some other way disrespect Me. I don’t tolerate nonsense.
sbs: Have you ever been recognized in your everyday life? If so, how does a man react to being face to face with the Mistress of his dreams so unexpectedly?
MD: I can’t speak for another’s experience (especially when the person in question is hypothetical) but I’m thankful I have not had that experience.
sbs: Do you session only with male slaves, or have you had female submissives kneel before you as well, Mistress?
MD: Both. Most of the women who come to see Me are coming with their husbands.
sbs: How does that work? Are they both submissive to you, or is the wife looking to learn from how you dominate? Talk about a unique couples excursion 🙂
MD: Many different types of couples all with different needs. Most of the time they both submit. If not then we work in tandem on the submissive one. The submissive one is always the one who wishes to be submissive. Not based on gender. Dominance has nothing to do with gender. But the female supremacy idea is a good tonic for toxic masculinity.
sbs: Are there significant differences for you in dominating a male slave as compared to female ones?
MD: The lines get blurred so significantly and so profoundly that no, I don’t think there’s a difference. I’ve seen men become hyper delicate and women take the most amazing onslaught of torture that I have a rough time seeing the difference. The only time it’s really pronounced is in someone who is fighting being there. I usually just dismiss that kind of person and tell them to reflect more before returning. This has happened with both genders. So…
sbs: So when you have a slave in session, do you prefer return engagements so your slave already knows your expectations and is somewhat trained, or do you enjoy shaping a new slave into exactly what you wish them to become, beginning with them as a novice?
MD: I enjoy both. It’s exciting to meet new people but when I see someone repeatedly who I like, there is a rapport that is built.
