Other than the craziness that is currently going on in our world, how has 2020 been for you to this point?
Goddess Skylar Rene: Despite the challenging times going on in the world at this time, my 2020 has personally been very special because I had my first child (a precious baby boy) born at the end of May! Being a new Mom has been quite a huge, life-altering adjustment (not to mention … I’m not used to not having abs, hehe 😜) but what a LOVING, joyful, magical experience it has been and it’s only just begun! Amongst the external chaos happening, I have nothing but gratitude for this year and it’s been one of my favorites in certain regards.
sbs: I can only imagine how busy you must be so let’s get right into it, shall we?
GSR: Absolutely, let’s rock’n’roll! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
sbs: How did you ever become interested in scissorholds, facesitting and using your physical strength to subdue men?
GSR: Although I had been introduced into the fetish/BDSM scene while in college at the age of 19, I didn’t start using my physical strength to subdue men until the producer of Scissorvixens.com asked me (via my professional modeling page at the time) if I wanted to film some videos for his website. At that time, I had never been on camera ‘filmed’ in this way, let alone anything pertaining to the fetish world! FUN FACT: this was the actual day that my alter ego as “Skylar Rene” was created! This led me more so down the path of beginning private sessions & working with many other producers.
sbs: Do you recall your first experience, and can you share a little of your story with our readers?
GSR: It was shortly before shooting with SV that I had agreed to do a paid private double session with a gal friend that I used to go-go dance with in which it was my very first time (ever) putting the guy/client into various scissorholds, pins and some smothers. By that I just mean that a majority of my clients aren’t usually into as much of the hardcore BDSM factors, although I have some that would be considered hybrids, hehe! 😈
Your second question is a tough one, as I’ve enjoyed both ends of that spectrum. I very much enjoy when men are passive, submissive, obedient and let me do whatever I wish but I will admit … there is a different kind of thrill (considering that I also have competitive tendencies & enjoy certain challenges) when having sessions with very physically strong and/or attractive (to my liking) men that I eventually force to submit to me. There’s definitely more of a power struggle/exchange within that that I’ve noticed has the ability to turn me on.
sbs: Would it be safe to assume that more than a few men have underestimated your power and learned to regret it very quickly after a session begins?
GSR: Ohhh, YES, this is actually pretty common! sbs: Do you have any trade secrets or techniques for scissoring that you are willing to share? Do you have a signature Goddess Skylar move, if you will?
GSR: Hmmm … I can’t say I have any trade secrets to disclose. I will say that when scissoring, what I’ve discovered as an important factor in squeezing tighter & harder is the muscle awareness and use of the adductors (inner thigh muscles), as well as the abductors (hip/gluteus muscles)!
I’d say my more well known signature move is my reverse headscissors, although I’m pretty sure you already knew that! I love putting people into my reverse scissors, although another favorite move I enjoy is the rear-naked choke hold in combination with body scissors.
sbs: In what could be a very dangerous fetish, I would imagine a great deal of knowledge and safety practices must be in place ahead of time in a session. Not every Domme could, or should, do what you do. Can you speak to the need for careful practice of this fetish?
GSR: Within this specific fetish, careful practice is definitely of utmost priority. In saying that, a number of questions are asked beforehand to the client as far as their experiences (with headscissoring/choking) and health goes. Personally, I am someone who goes very slow and am overly cautious (especially if someone has never experienced these holds before) to ensure the safety of the client and as well, that both of us are comfortable. It takes a great deal of trust for a stranger to trust my thighs or arms around their neck & I don’t blame them!!!
