slaveboysmith: Striking out on their own, two of LA’s hottest Dommes embark on a brand new project, Venus in Bells. Welcome back to DommeAddiction, Sorceress Bebe and Mistress Kayla. Happy New Year and this one looks to be very exciting for you both! What can you share about the origins of this project?
Mistress Kayla: Venus in Bells is an effort that’s been in the works for almost a year, and from its inception we knew we wanted to have a safe place for the kink community. We wanted a studio that could be utilized equally as both a filming/photography space and functional dungeon. As we are both into the occult, we knew we wanted a room that we could also use for spell work as well as more submissive sacrifices.
Sorceress Bebe: Although the space is primarily meant for those in the community both professional and personal, we wanted to be able to expand our reach and be able to utilize the space for photoshoots, sizzle reals, music videos and other things of the nature while remaining true to classic BDSM aesthetic.
sbs: Venus in Bells will be both a functioning dungeon and filming studio. Is this typical of dungeons, or does this give you two an advantage as clip artists as well as Pro Dommes?
MK: We designed every element from the ceiling to the candles, everything we did we did with detail and intention, and we wanted to make sure the space was versatile and easily moved around. Our inspiration in a way was the concept of Instagram malls. We wanted to make sure every corner could be used, and sets were easily manipulated to easily provide an assortment of appearances.
SB: As two Dommes that offer both in-person and online, we knew what both sides needed from equipment to IT services, we knew we wanted to create something easily utilizable in every aspect and provide an unforgettable experience for professionals and clients alike. We will also be hosting a wide variety of parties, and in the wake of COVID with so much of our community taking a hit, we are so proud to open our doors to the kink community and keep it thriving.
sbs: At opening, your dungeon will consist of you two only. Will you be adding more Dommes to join you, or hosting visiting Dommes?
MK: Although we technically opened with just us two, we had several girls that helped us in the process and started renting from us early on. Two of our closest friends, Lady Cinder and Switch Ava, really helped us set up and we’re incredibly grateful, (not to mention our diligent subs) but we are currently bringing in Dommes, subs, and switches.
sbs: In what ways will Venus in Bells be different than other dungeons in the LA area, and what might draw slaves to your new venture, beyond the obvious presence of two exceptional Dommes, of course 😉
MK: We are mindful about keeping good energy in our space and we’re confident that everyone coming in will greatly contribute to that. We’re also opening our space to visiting Dommes, couples and lifestyles, and will offer an array of classes and parties.
sbs: Sorceress, you know I’ve spoken of my bucket list and visiting the LA area to submit in person. Perhaps our next feature will take place with me visiting Venus in Bells. For those who are dreaming of a session, what advice might you offer them as they plan to address their very own bucket list items?
SB: Yes slaveboy, Venus in Bells is absolutely bucket list material, and you need to come out and see the city and more importantly our studio, guaranteed to give you a magical experience. We have a long list of subs that have been waiting for the doors to open. Luckily for them it’s that time.
