Mistress Tomie: Yes, but it’s not necessarily because I’m unique, I’ve just weaponized the self-defeat inherent in masculinity and male egos. I think the earliest instance of this was when my first high school suitor insisted, despite his own discomfort, on driving me everywhere, pay for all my meals, and pamper me in an attempt to be “the man.” He was so blinded by his own desire to achieve elusive “manhood” that I never got in a relationship with him – I always kept him in that state of yearning to “attain” me. Control is easy because I don’t need to do anything to make it happen, they’re already entangled in the web. I just sit and watch.
sbs: Are you naturally dominant in every aspect of your life, or is Femdom more a roleplay for you when interacting with slaves?
MT: I’m dominant in every aspect of my life, but am also socially aware enough to dial up or down the notch depending on context. I enjoy genuine power, not Domme drag.
sbs: If you could have one celebrity, or well known person, completely at your mercy, willing to do anything you demanded of them, who would it be, and why?
MT: I think it would be funny to make our world leaders dance together in a circle.
sbs: Is there a specific type of slave you find is drawn to you? And do you have an ideal in mind for the “perfect slave”.
MT: There’s a wide range of subs who come to me and I enjoy being able to toy around with them all. Versatility in personalities and backgrounds keep things interesting for me – I love being surprised. I don’t think perfection exists, but the key qualities include contributing to my dominion in practical ways, deep desire to make me happy regardless of what it is, and self-awareness of their own needs.
sbs: Do you prefer to break and enslave men who might resist, or use well-trained ones that are already broken in?
MT: Resistance is foolish and futile, and the faster they recognize that in themselves the better. It makes me laugh watching their sad relapses and their struggle against themselves. Dance monkey, dance.
Because my time, attention, and energy is so limited, I prefer well-trained, well-mannered subs who immediately know their role in my life either, digitally or in-person.
sbs: Do you have specific fetishes you enjoy exploring with your slaves, and does that differ between real time sessions and online training Mistress Tomie?
MT: My digital content explores my fantasies and psychological control, whereas my real-time sessions tend to cultivate longer D/s relationships and are more directly intimate. sbs: How can you tell when you’ve completely broken someone and they are unable to resist you? Is there a “tell” of some kind that lets you know you’ve taken total control?
MT: I tend to not use the word “broken” unless we have negotiated “breaking” him. But in general, I don’t need to exert effort to make myself irresistible. I know I have total control in a tangible and significant way if he slowly earns being an owned submissive in our D/s relationship and I have real priority in both their vanilla and kink lives.
