Your previous interview almost set fire to our site; it was so popular. Thank you for the chance to update our readers. How are you, and what have you been up to of late?
Miss Brittany Andrews: I’m fine, Sugarplum. Thank you for asking. I just celebrated my 50th Birthday. Other than that, I’m finally home after a year with too much travel in it. Happy to be home with my kids, Bella (dog) and Mia (cat).
sbs: From your Twitter feed, I noticed that the woman of our dreams is celebrating a milestone, a birthday coming up. Can you imagine your popularity and longevity in this business when you began your career?
MBA: Absolutely not! I started in the adult entertainment industry in 1991 at a very young age. When I did Exxxotica Chicago this year, I went back to my home city of Milwaukee and went to the original strip club where it all started. It’s in an awful location, very, very low rent. Everyone just kept telling me before I went to make sure I didn’t get shot. But I wanted to return to remind myself where I came from and be grateful. It looked so sketchy from outside like I definitely was going to get shot. LOL But when I walked in, they had done a lot of renovations, and it looked really nice, so I was happy that I went. It’s Ricky’s on State—tell them I sent you, but make sure you don’t get shot while you’re there. LOL
sbs: How does it feel to know that men half your age are drooling over your content and dreaming of what it might be like to bow before the world-famous icon, Mistress Brittany Andrews?
MBA: It feels appropriate, as it should be. 💋
sbs: With all your accomplishments and achievements, is there anything left on your “bucket list” to do? What comes next for you in this industry and your personal life?
MBA: Business-wise, I’m just trying to find a way to manage things so I don’t need to work and travel as much. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to accomplish that or not. LOL. Until I can figure that out, I don’t have much personal life, as I’m just working all the time.
sbs: As famous as you are and readily recognizable, you must have some interesting stories of running into fans who are in awe of being in the presence of their ultimate fantasy creator, Miss Brittany. Any that comes to mind as memorable?
MBA: Once, I was on a flight, and a fan paid the person next to me $500 to exchange seats so he could sit next to me. I have the worst memory, so that’s the only one I can think of now. LOL
sbs: You’ve collaborated with some of the most well-known and accomplished male and female performers during your career. Is there anyone you have yet to film with that you would enjoy a shoutout for to see if they might be interested as well?
MBA: At the moment, there are many. I was retired for a good 10 years, and when I decided to do a proper comeback, COVID happened. So, I have not worked with a lot of the A+ talent that’s currently relevant. There are also many companies I haven’t worked with, so there’s a plethora of companies and talent that I’d like to film with.
sbs: You are what the industry refers to as a Mommy Domme in your style. For those living under a rock or who may only know of you as an adult performer, how would Miss Brittany describe her style as a Dominatrix, and what are some of your favourite fetishes to explore with willing submissives?
MBA: Mommy Domme describes me perfectly. It’s the balance of my own personal dark wickedness mixed with years of therapy and compassion. Being a Dominatrix has many of the same skill sets as being a psychologist. I’ve known many people who have worked out their trauma and other issues using sexuality, and especially BDSM genres. So, I like to push the envelope, but I’m also not there to permanently add to someone’s trauma. I like the push and pull of being the strict dominant mother figure and then the caring and loving mother figure. When you know how to play the violin correctly, it can be a real mindfuck, which makes that role exhilarating to play.
sbs: You have been in the Fetish side of the adult industry for three decades. What are some of the trends that you have seen come and go?
MBA: I don’t think any of them come and go, but definitely some become more popular during different times. When I first entered the business, it was more about BDSM and female submission. Now, of course, FemDom is much more popular than BDSM. It’s funny because when I first started, many terminologies that exist today were around, like FemDom, Pegging, FinDom, etc.
When I first started in the business I was working for a company and there was no one as their ambassador as such the name of the company was IBN. Back, then trampling, smothering and facesitting was so popular. Now, you don’t see those three together in the same way you used to back in the day. So those are the fetishes that have come and the ones that you have seen grow very popular that weren’t popular in the past.
And, of course, pegging is probably number one. I put out my first VHS of pegging in 1995, and I couldn’t even get distribution, so I had to self-distribute. This is one of the ways I got the title of pioneer of pegging. Back then, there were very few female directors, even fewer female directors/ producers, and I can only think of one other female who did producing, directing, and distribution.
One of the other things I was among the first to do was FinDom. I had a series of websites called the Niche Bitch Network, and PayMissBrittany was one of them. Now FinDom is massive.
sbs: Out of all the various fetishes, what is your favourite one currently?
MBA: I would probably have to say sissification. As the years have passed and things have changed, I like this one the most. However, I definitely enjoy it in the more Generation Z way—the memes, gooning, etc. I get to use my Bimbo Barbie room to make that type of content, which I enjoy. Probably my favorite thing has always been humiliation.
