sbs: I just felt a shiver up my spine and tingling in other places that have me very worried. And as you trace your tongue along your glistening fangs, I will admit I’m in over my head. Do you recall the first time you donned your fangs and created the sensual succubus that you so perfectly play?
MW: My first venture into the vampire/succubus genre was at the request of a customer. He was very particular in his fetish in that he wanted the Vampiress to be fierce and predatory. I immediately connected with the ferocity of a truly otherworldly feminine creature who took what she wanted. The fantasy of devouring men in a violent and sexual way is extremely cathartic for me. The succubus is, of course, a more sensual creature. She feeds off the sexual energy of her victims, but they of course lose their souls and their lives in her deadly sexual embrace.
sbs: What is it, beyond the obvious overwhelming beauty, that lures men to such dark fantasies? I mean, we’re talking about deadly women who take everything from them, yet we simply cannot resist. MW: My two most recent clips in the genre, “Demon Daughter” and “Predator” are my favourites and what I believe are the best clips I’ve done in my career. “Demon Daughter” was an ambitious performance as I played two characters interacting with one another. It was a huge learning experience in storyboarding, scripting and editing. The end result is a thrilling narrative that is extremely enjoyable and cinematic to watch and it adds a scary paranormal edge to the following sex scene which includes lots of taboo dirty talk and incredible anal. “Predator” was an extremely rewarding clip to make as it experimented a lot more with visual story telling and tableaus. It’s extremely cinematic with a slow methodical pacing that emulates the patience of a predator stalking it’s prey. We think we know who the predator is at the beginning… but slowly more gets revealed to us. These two clips were intense labours of love that gave me the opportunity to really experiment with my artistic voice and showed me a glimpse of the kind of erotic films I’d like to make in the future
sbs: I’m glad you mention the future because that was my next question actually. Your clips, including the two you mention, are cinematic masterpieces and are so much more than just erotica. What is next for you Mistress, and can your devoted followers hope for more clips of their favourite collector of souls.
MW: Of course I plan on shooting clips for a long time. In the future I would like to dive deeper into cinematic visual storytelling that can stand on it’s own as well as add a richer erotic experience for the viewer. I’d like to start shooting professional performers in the industry as well.
sbs: I saw you respond to a tweet by the very beautiful Chanel Santini suggesting you might like to shoot with her. Please tell me she responded and that this is happening! You two would be absolutely magical together I’m sure. Would these be professional performers shooting with you, or would you be moving into a producer role in such clips?
MW: It would be both. There are many performers in the industry that I admire so much and would love to be in a scene with. Yes Chanel Santini is one such performer I would love to shoot with but there are many others. I hope fans will manage their expectations however, as many performers that are in high demand are not willing to travel to Canada for the small amount of exposure earned from making “clips”. At the same time, I have many ideas that wouldn’t be right for me to perform in. Taking on the role of director for a feature project is a dream of mine that I’d like to work towards in the next couple of years.
sbs: We see vampire characters in mainstream television and movies more and more. Have you ever found yourself watching and thinking of potential clip ideas? If so, what was it that inspired you Mistress?
MW: A while back I found myself inspired by Lady Gaga’s vampire character in American Horror Story’s “Hotel”. She was so insanely sensual, dominant and powerful. The premiere episode of the season also showed a couples orgy scene in which the men interacted sexually which was extremely groundbreaking. Of course it ended in a gorgeous blood bath but the scene was so impactful that I think about it frequently.
sbs: God yes!!! I’ve never loved Lady Gaga more…and I’m a huge fan of all her work. That scene is epic! Might we see a clip inspired by that scene in your future Mistress? Any other vampire characters you’ve particularly connected to? Or succubus’ for that matter?
MW: I’d love to do a feature film with a similar character to Gaga’s in “Hotel”. Other than that I love all kickass murderous women in movies. Ginger Snaps and American Mary come to mind for hardcore ladies that inspire me a lot.
sbs: I think I speak for a great number of your admirers that would love to see you re-create that scene one day. I’ve asked you about your perspective and experience as the alluring and dangerous vampire. But my next question is about your male model, aka your ‘victim’. How does he feel when you tell him it’s time to be drained once again, but not in the way he might think?
MW: He enjoys it. Oftentimes he has scratches on his cock after a scene which is always exciting. While I don’t think he enjoys it the same way that my fans do (he is in the moment of shooting the clip responsible for so many technical things on top of his performance) he enjoys the natural thrill of me essentially going to the darkside.
sbs: A darkside Meana is a very irresistible force I’m sure. He’s a very lucky man to be your victim.
