Please share with our readers a little about your home dungeon and why everyone reading this feature needs to ensure that they visit yourself, or one of your other Mistresses to experience Femdom at it’s finest.
MK: We opened Mystique Chamber about a year and a half ago. My partner and I own the only private, fully equipped, female only operated private dungeon in the valley. We take a great deal of pride in our work, and this extends to the girls that work for us. Not to brag, but we facilitate some of the most beautiful and talented Dommes in the business. We are also bringing on some new talent and opening our doors for classes and parties in the near future. We really do love what we do and our eye for detail is evident in our play and the facility itself. It’s clean, remodeled and completely our own. sbs: I believe you’re aware of our absolute adoration for the beautiful Sorceress Bebe, who we’ve featured many times at DommeAddiction, and from looking through your website, the Dommes at Mystique Chamber are all world. Speaking of yourself as a Domme, in particular, is there a typical type of slave that will seek a session with you, and do you have a preferred type of slave you especially enjoy toying with?
MK: She’s amazing. To be honest as far as ownership goes and even just play in general I’m all about the power exchange. As long as you’re being subservient in every sense of the word, I’m a happy Mistress. I like everything from corporal to sensual; give me what I want, and I’ll give you what you need.
sbs: And with that last part of your answer, I most definitely have my quote for when I promote this interview! Wow…”give me what I want, and I’ll give you what you need”. I love it! I can see why Sorceress Bebe spoke so highly of you Mistress. Do you prefer to session with clients you’ve seen before, that know your expectations and are already trained, or does it excite you to take on a new client who can be molded to whatever you wish them to become?
MK: Lol that is a good quote. That’s a tricky question, and I can’t honestly say that there is one I prefer over the other. One one hand you have a slave that you have broken in to some extent. You know their limits and you know how far you can push them. There’s already a connection established, and although professional Dommes don’t incorporate sex into their sessions, there’s a definite sexual undertone, and a lot like a sexual relationship, the better you know your partner and their likes the deeper that connection goes and the more pleasurable it becomes. One the other hand you have a new client, someone you’re breaking in (so to speak) for the first time and there is something new and exciting about it. You’re discovering them, and many times they’re having their first experience of some kind with you, which is always enthralling. It’s really hard to pick one of the other, both are really great, but to be honest, what it always comes down to is that connection, without a connection you don’t have anything. I guess that’s true of all our relationships, but it really tends to prevail in kink. So regardless if it’s a connection that has been there and is growing or one that is just blossoming, it’s that connection that will make or break the session.
sbs: I think it’s safe to say, reading your responses already, that you can clearly feel just how much you truly enjoy what you do, Mistress. I’m sure that plays in very nicely into sessions. I know myself, when a Domme is engaged and enjoying herself, the session is so much more fulfilling. Are there particular fetishes you especially enjoy exploring with a slave, and what hard limits do you put on sessions?
MK: To be honest, every session is completely subjective. Mutuality, and connection are key. For me it’s completely about the power exchange, and the mental aspect that goes with having that level of control, it’s completely enthralling. However, with that being said, I really love spitting, spanking, CBT, sensual, and corporal. So it’s a pretty vast variety. As far as limits go, I stay away from blood and permanent scarring. Safe, sane, and consensual always comes into play. It’s basically the Domme code, and I live by that. The only other place that I really draw the line, and I’ve actually only encountered this with two people; is when I know that the session is psychologically damaging. To me, and to other professionals (in both psychology and domination) play should be therapeutic, and even when it teeters on the more severe corporal side, physically you may endure some damage, but psychologically for a lot of people, it’s healing wounds. When I know that what I’m doing is worsening those wounds and leaving them mentally, spiritually, or psychological worse off I have to draw the line.
sbs: Safe, sane and consensual above all else is a must, and I’m sure it’s very reassuring to know they are placing their trust in such good hands. Are all of the clients you see men, or do you also have female submissives who bow before you? Does that change the dynamic of a session, or is more about the individual for you?
MK: The majority of my clients are men, but I do have one female I see on a semi-regular basis, along with a few others I’ve seen over the years. I really do love playing with females, I wish I had the opportunity to play with them more often. The inherent exchange of power does shift a bit when I’m playing with the same sex, I tend to be initially a bit softer with them, but once we get into the groove and I get a feel for their excitements and limits I don’t hold back. Everyone I play with, male or female differs, it really is so subjective.
sbs: It certainly sounds like every session is planned meticulously to maximize the enjoyment for both yourself and your clients. I have to say, you have me dreaming of visiting Mystique Chamber one day, although Sorceress Bebe has already made that offer an open one for this very lucky slaveboy 😉 Do the Dommes at Mystique Chamber do sessions with more than one Domme, and if so, how does the dynamic of a session change for you when you’re working with another Femdom?
MK: You should come visit us, we’ll really give you something to write about! We do offer double Domme and other multiple sessions. Just like any other session, there’s a chemistry that needs to exist between those playing. The Dommes play off of one another as they taunt and tease their subject. As far as the sub goes, their interaction with the Domme is essentially the same. The Domme (s) command and the sub listens. It just offers a different element to play, and for some a deeper level of submission.

sbs: Oh my! I think I might have trouble forming sentences after you two were done with me! That, or I would never want to leave lol. You do certainly make it irresistibly tempting to visit Mystique someday, though. Being in LA, I am guessing it is safe to assume that several well known people have likely come through your dungeon. As discretion is key, I won’t ask you to name names. However, of those that have NOT found themselves kneeling before you, is there one celebrity, or well known person out there that you would truly love to have at your mercy in session?
MK: Hummm that is a good question, I do get my fair share of celebrities but of course that is never discussed, even with my other fellow Dommes. Honestly if I could pick anyone, it would be Trump. Maybe he’s experienced a golden, maybe he hasn’t, and staying away from giving away my opinion on politics or policies he’s someone that needs to know his place. As I mentioned before there is no better gift than your power, and as commander and chief he’s got quite a bit of that, but even beyond the level of power there, he’s someone that needs to know his place. He’s in such dire need that I already know this is out of the realm of possibilities but a girl can dream. Having him on his knees grovelling before a Goddess, completely at her mercy would be beneficial to everyone. So many want world peace, so in my humble opinion, it would be a fantastic place to start.
sbs: If a session with you is what it takes to humble him, make him think more rationally and make better decisions for his own country, and those of us affected by him, I’m all for it. Though, it seems a session with you might be a privilege he’s undeserving of. No matter who the slave might be, when you have them in that moment when all resistance and hesitation fades away, can you describe what it feels like to have absolute control in your hands? Is there a comparable to what is popularly known as “sub-space” for Dommes, in your opinion and experience?
MK: Hahah, yeah that’s a good point, he’s absolutely undeserving. To be honest, having that sense of absolute power is indescribable, it’s a definite high, and although I’ve never been in subspace (obviously) from what I understand they’re completely separate entities. From what I’ve heard subspace is almost a body high, for the Domme (at least this Domme) it’s all mental. From a psychological aspect there’s nothing like it, it’s a complete rush of power. I think this experience most likely differs from Domme to Domme, unlike the commonality that seems to be shared in subspace. But for me it’s all encompassing and there’s something so moving about someone willingly giving me control. I love it!
sbs: As I think I said earlier, it’s very obvious that you truly enjoy what you do. With all that you’ve accomplished and experienced, what comes next for you personally, and for Mystique Chamber, Mistress Kayla?
MK: Hummm god, I have so many goals. As far as Mystique Chamber goes, I’d really love to expand, and we have plans to open our doors in the near future to parties, private events and classes, which I’m really excited about. I think overall though, I really want a safe place for Femme Dommes to go, find their power, and kind of harvest it. I want it to be a place that they can expand their own business and become successful without ever hindering anyone else. Being a Domme is a huge responsibility and it’s an incredible experience and I really believe that where you learn and grow will determine what kind of Domme you are, and to be honest the world needs more good Dommes. As for me, in conjunction with the dungeon, and being a Domme in general, I’ll just keep expanding and going on other ventures with my writing career. Maybe I’ll write something about this, after all it is all really interesting, and I don’t want to get started but “Bonding” was a step in the right direction but really at the same time, a disappointment.
sbs: I was excited to see a mainstream show that brought the topic of BDSM to the forefront, and I will admit that the actress starring caught my eye, but I share your disappointment. The show definitely didn’t do anything for me, and I’m sure it was full of inaccuracies and misrepresentations.
