Mistress Alana: It’s my pleasure and I thank you for your service and dedication to the community.
sbs: It is a labour of servitude I truly enjoy. Let me begin by asking you to share a little of how you entered the world of Femdom and what drew you to it. Have you always known the power you hold over men like myself?
MA: My character has always been strong. I was dominant before knowing the meaning of the word. Even back when I was still a child, boys never intimidated me. As I grew into a teenager, I was always hanging out with boys. I had my little boy “clique”. As it turns out, the only other girl hanging out with us is the one that introduced me officially to Femdom, only a few years ago after we re-connected. Back in high school, each of the boys took turns into falling in love with us, but we were never interested. I wouldn’t say we were using them or taking advantage of them, but we definitely saw ourselves as “too good” for those silly immature boys. I guess that was where it all started. After finishing a college degree in psychology, I started working as a stripper so I could earn money fast. It’s humiliating for a man to think strippers are all dumb and they can get away with anything but then they come across someone who will put them back in their place, make them feel emasculated, remind them they are not in control and remind them of their place. Eventually, I started camming because I wasn’t enjoying the stripper lifestyle anymore. I started receiving a lot of requests for various fetishes even though I wasn’t promoting myself as a Domme. I was told by a few clients that I had this attitude that dragged them to me. I have been told by a lot of my vanilla clients as well that they were really intimidated by me. So I started advertising that I was taking Domination sessions online. One thing followed another and now here I am.
As I took more and more enquiries as a Domme, it just started to feel right and then I knew the whole path I have followed was meant to lead me here. Almost as if each event was meant to be for me to let Femdom take more space in my life.
sbs: Can you describe how it feels now…taking control…making men behave only as you instruct. Is there something equivalent to “sub space” for you as Domme?
MA: In my case I call this my “Mistress Space”. I’m not always in it, and when I am, it really is because I am with a sub I trust and who deserves it. Getting to experience me in “Mistress Space” is a privilege. It’s kind of hard to describe, but to me, entering that space is a moment where I can really let go of a top layer of social conditioning. Such as how to act in public, how you need to be in various “regular” social contexts. It does give me a high being in that position. Especially when there is flow and understanding between myself and my sub. It’s always a challenge to enter the mind of another human being, and when you know you have done it, and both parties are in true sync, it’s totally empowering.
sbs: It sounds like something rather amazing. Can you share a little about the fetishes that truly excite you, and do your choices and preferences vary depending on the context of a session with a slave, ie. real time vs online?
MA: I only do online at the moment. The only real time experiences I had were in a club. Now I live in a small place where there is no dungeons and that could put my safety at stake. I have done various work shops in Japanese bondage (Shibari) and if I was to do more real time I would definitely use my skills. My main areas of interest online are cuckolding, humiliation, sissification and financial domination. I actually just remembered that I did have a real time experience not so long ago. I traveled to the city for a day with a shopping slave. sbs: And as we speak of your style let me ask you this: lingerie or latex? Which more accurately reflects the end of the Femdom spectrum Mistress Alana exists in?
MA: Hahah. That question makes me laugh. As you know I live in Australia so latex is not the most comfortable choice due to the heat. I love latex and own a few pieces made by a friend. But being a surfer my first choice is often bikinis and lingerie. I love my body and I like showing it so I like revealing clothing.
sbs: A woman in a bikini can be equally as devastating to a male psyche as latex or leather, any day. I think you may have ruined a few of us with a mental image of you in a bikini in the sun, tanned and perfect. Let me ask this then, do you consider your style more sensual or strict?
MA: I like your questions. They make me think hard! Don’t you think someone can be both?
sbs: I try to make it interesting and I enjoy the rapport. Absolutely they can. All of the above is most definitely an option 😉
MA: I feel like I can switch between both. Sometimes I’ll feel very sensual, but then my sub does something wrong, and he will believe another person took possession of my body. That adds an element of surprise as well. If we had a scale with 1 being 100% sensual and 10 would be 100% strict (both in a dominant way) I think I would be a 6.5. so leaning a little more towards strict.
