Miss Maya Sin: Hello! Thank you for having me!
sbs: It is such a privilege to be in your presence. Let me begin by asking you to share a little of your story of how you started out and what has led you to becoming the world famous Dominatrix you are today.
MMS: I started out in the BDSM world commercially, and found myself in it. It’s actually my friend Melisande who introduced me to Kink, originally. I found some sex toys in her house back when we lived in England and curiously questioned her haha. We had a chat and Fetishism, Sadomasochism and the D/s dynamic really seemed to resonate with me, my inherent sexual openness and my passion for Psychology. We started attending Fetish events together and when Melisande moved back to Poland to open the Sin Sisters Dungeon, I joined her a few months later in Gdańsk. We started the prison experiences and monthly collaborations with our current photographer Kobaru. We started touring Europe and it all happened before we knew it 🙂 I have now gone my own way. Although I am still part of the Sin Sisters Dungeon, I have moved back to Paris to set up my own play-space which will open in the next few months.
sbs: I had the distinct privilege of interviewing Miss Melisande recently and I have to say that the clips you two have done together look absolutely incredible! I can only imagine the overwhelming experience of serving you both. Can you describe for our readers what it feels like to wield the kind of power your beauty and dominance affords you over another person?
MMS: Thank you! Being on the Dominant side can feel very special with the right person. If the connection during a scene is strong, I will experience “Domme space”, which doesn’t arise as a result of a power trip, but more because I am fully present, literally floating in the moment. Furthermore, I strive to have a positive influence on my submissives by bringing their attention to their flaws, their inner fears, what holds them back, and watching them begin their journey into their inner selves feels good. What feels truly special though, is the exchange of trust that takes place in the D/s dynamics that I get to experience, both the trust that is gifted to me by my submissives, and the trust that I have in them being attentive to my needs.
sbs: That does sound deliciously erotic and intense Miss Maya. Are there specific fetishes and kinks that you particularly enjoy exploring?
MMS: What I enjoy exploring the most is people’s psychosexual motivations, in order to help them know themselves better, or just experience powerful moments together. To achieve this, I do favour specific groups of practices such as Discipline, Humiliation, Objectification and Bondage. I am also a latex fetishist.
sbs: I believe my first exposure to you was a picture of you in a latex catsuit, heels and a leash in hand with a slave crawling at your heel. It was powerful, beautiful and as erotic as anything I’d ever seen. You look astonishing in latex. Do you recall when your fetish began and what it was that drew you to latex?
MMS: Thank you! I was immediately drawn to latex when I got into BDSM. I have always felt that skin-tight clothing were empowering. A woman’s beauty is a source of power. Latex feels like a second skin: the way it contours my body also makes me feel powerful because it’s as though I was naked yet invulnerable…
sbs: Can you describe the reaction of your slaves when they are first met with the intensely powerful image of you approaching in latex? How does it feel for you to hold that kind of power over another person in that moment?
MMS: My submissives tend to contain their excitement 🙂 Beauty is power to a certain extent…As I mentioned before, it’s not the power that I hold over my submissives that gives me joy. My dominance is based on a conscious effort to understand them and it’s the connection that results from this as well as receiving the gift of their submission, that feels magical.
sbs: Do you have an ideal in mind for the type of submissive that pleases you most? What type of behaviours do you wish to see in those that serve you?
MMS: I have a preference for submissives who are intellectual, creative and open- minded. That being said, I also find a good balance with people who are more analytical yet have a need to broaden their horizons. The two traits that I value the most in a submissive are humility and willingness to always strive to improve oneself.
sbs: I’m sure you have your choice of submissives offering their servitude to you. For those unable to experience a real time session with you, what type of online/distance training opportunities do you offer Miss Maya?
MMS: Coming back to my previous answer, my submissives’ willingness to improve themselves, both in their lives and in our relationship, leads them to take initiative in order to serve me better but also grow as people, by deepening their submissive role.
I have an online training program available on my Onlyfans. However it isn’t the typical online training that one might expect, but rather a step that one should take if they wish to learn more about my approach to Domination and submission, which has an important spiritual dimension to it. My training method essentially combines the rewards and punishments of operant conditioning (used in dog training but also just the learning field in general) with one’s awareness of themselves and the present moment, through paying attention to the body and mind. It is divided into several sections, including one on obedience and servitude, a slave position guide with beautiful photos to illustrate each slave position, one about service, one about self-discipline and care and one sexual discipline that combines chastity training with exercises to learn to channel one’s sexual energy into chi energy.
sbs: If you could have one celebrity, or well known person kneeling in your dungeon, eager to serve and obey your every command, who would you choose, and why?
MMS: I’m not familiar with celebrities but since I’m being asked to choose one famous person now, I choose Psychologist and economist Daniel Kahneman. It would be an honour to have such a mastermind at my feet.
sbs: I’m sure you would have his mind completely focused on you in a matter of seconds, Miss Maya. What can you tell our readers about Sin Sisters, which you are a part of?
MMS: The Sin Sisters is a collective of Mistresses who practice the art of Female Domination. Originally, when we started up the Sin Sisters, it was just Melisande and I. Then the family grew to 8 members: Healah Sin, the Headmistress, Heda, Luna, Daga Danzig, Liara, Nyks and us. At the Sin Sisters dungeon, we define BDSM as something between art, psychological exercise for the development of the self and a deeply spiritual and emotional experience. We are on a mission to learn, teach, coach, guide, transform and go beyond.
sbs: You are definitely part of something extraordinary and together with your Domme Sisters have created something that should be on every submissive’s bucket list to visit. Looking at your Twitter feed and some of the erotic images you post, you can be seen leading slaves on a leash publicly at times. Can you describe how it feels for you in that moment, as I think most of us can imagine what goes through the slave’s mind!
MMS: For me, leading a submissive on a leash publicly is like a social experiment that aims to stir minds. I like to confront people with the unusual, in a way that is perhaps more usual. During my public slave walk in Gdańsk, we were both wearing pretty casual clothes, so most passersby had to look twice until they noticed the unusual part: the lead. The experience of the walk itself brought my submissive and I closer together because confronting a crowd of vanilla people together deepened our connection. I felt proud of leading him and he felt proud of being led by me. I have actually written a little article about the public walk with my submissive which you can read here.
sbs: I recall seeing that post and being blown away. I had already seen pictures of you on your website with a slave on leash at the beach and a few other examples of your power on public display, but your slave walk was something to behold. I’m sure there were more than a few conversations started as you passed by slackjawed onlookers. Anything planned in this regard upcoming Miss Maya? Should those who live near you be ready to see what they may not expect again soon?
MMS: Actually people were more speechless than anything, or just giggling 🙂 I have started a public latex series in Paris under the hashtag #latexinparis, but there is no submissive involved this time. Well, not on camera 🙂 This is just a series of videos showing me walking in latex around Paris. Every week (more or less), I shoot in a new location in Paris, wearing latex. The first two videos were just amateur clips until I started collaborating with videographer @DeckMara (this is the first video we shot together and is publicly available here. The other videos will be posted on my Onlyfans as private content and there will be a teaser on my Twitter.
