sbs: Indeed I’m sure it will be. It feels very natural to be kneeling before you today. Let me start by asking you to share a little of how you entered the world of Femdom and how your experiences have been along the way. Have you always known the power you hold over men like myself?
DK: I’ve always been Dominant and assertive. Growing up socialized, presenting and identifying female, some parts of society understood the energy and others did not. I wasn’t always confident in embracing My gift. As I grew and learned and lived, I was able to hone My power and wield it responsibly. The world of kink and BDSM is a home that I wish people told Me about sooner! I didn’t get into the whole whips-and-chains of it until a job led Me to the world three years ago and then a partner introduced Me to the D/s dynamic. Once I realized My power over men, I was absolutely tickled.
sbs: I’m sure the world opened up when you realized the control you could have. Can you describe how it feels to have that power, to know that you have someone in that state where you virtually own them? Is there something comparable for a Domme to what submissives experience as “sub space”?
DK: There is a “Domme space” and it’s difficult to describe, but it is exhilarating! It takes a Dominant to a high, so there is a crash. Aftercare is very important for tops, as well! And for Me, the psychological side of D/s is one of the most thrilling. That’s the turn on. That moment I feel you slip under My control. That moment you give in.
sbs: In that moment of surrender, of giving in, is there a “tell” in your submissives that lets you know when it is happening for them? Or is it different in each case? What might you look for or sense?
DK: It’s different in each case. Sometimes it’s a flicker in the eyes. Sometimes, it’s a visible relaxation or energy change. It’s a click. A moment.
