Welcome back beautiful Ms. and I know I’m very excited, as are our readers, to catch up on all things Ms. De Luca. How are you and how have you survived this apocalyptic past almost 2 years?
Ms. Elena De Luca: Thank you for having me again! It is always a pleasure to chat with you. I have been well and thankfully I have survived so far. I am very grateful to have been vaccinated since the early spring. It has been quite the relief and allowed me to get, somewhat, back to normal.
sbs: And such a pleasure to finally be back in your presence, Ms. Elena. Indeed, it was a huge sigh of relief when I got my 2nd dose. Are you able to return to almost normal levels of in-person sessions now?
MEDL: I am. I resumed sessions in April and it’s been amazing. I went 1 year and 2 weeks without an in-person session. My first session back was with a favorite bottom and things have only gotten better from there.
sbs: I can only imagine how much fun you had in that first session…all that pent up Femdom energy. What a lucky slave! During the time when you were not able to do real-time sessions, did you find yourself shifting into more emphasis on your various online/distance platforms? And did you start any new projects as a result?
MEDL: That first session was nothing short of amazing! He booked me for the first day I was returning just to make sure he was first. Yes, during the year off I focused almost solely on online and distance play. I felt it was important that we all kept up our social interactions as much as possible to keep feeling like ourselves. I even taught a few classes to help others focus on online play. It was great for building relationships with those who live outside NYC that I normally may not have had the time to chat with so much.
sbs: Indeed we were all starved for interactions that had meaningful human contact, weren’t we? Now that you have been able to return to real time sessions, will you continue with your evolving skills online and for distance play for those unfortunate enough to not be able to see you in your NYC dungeon?
MEDL: I will. I started playing online about a year into my career so it has always been a part of my play. The pandemic definitely brought it to the forefront in a way it had never been before. Now that I am splitting my time it has been harder to interact w/ my distance subs as much as I would like but I am working out a schedule that doesn’t leave anyone deprived.
sbs: Easily enslaving men and women whether they are there with you in person or not, I’m not the least bit surprised! Your Twitter name includes your vaccination status and you’ve been actively promoting everyone get vaccinated. You’re preaching to the choir with this slaveboy, but for those that are still reluctant what might you say?
MEDL: I am very pro-vax and will do whatever I can to keep my friends, family and subs safe. As well as the friends and family of my subs. I am only seeing vaccinated subs because I trust the science behind the safety and security the vaccines give us. I know it lowers the chance of me putting anyone else at risk. If someone who is still reluctant to get the vaccine came to me I would ask them why they feel that way. I would try to explain to them the trustworthiness of the sources giving this info. I would even go with them for their appointment to make them feel safe. The only thing I won’t do for them is play with them until they get vaccinated.
sbs: If that isn’t incentive enough, I can’t imagine what it would take! As you return to sessions are you exploring any new fetishes or kinks that you are excited about, and do you feel your style has changed at all after such a long hiatus as a result of COVID?
MEDL: Having all that time to reflect and really think about the scenes I have had, I wouldn’t say I’ve changed the kinks too much. More honed in on the things that mean the most to me perhaps. I’m also doing a lot more extended sessions. Longer sessions provide the gift of time to really dig deep into the things I love most. I’ve enjoyed slowing down and focusing in.

sbs: Speaking of your new website, what can you share with our readers about what they will find there and what you’re passionate about in terms of changes you’ve made?
MEDL: My new website is a much better depiction of me as a Dominant than any previous website I have had. I spent months learning how to build it, making design decisions and fleshing it out with all the writings. It was very important to me that it include all of my protocols and a good picture of who I am.
When someone contacts me I can tell right away if they have read my website or not. If they have not, I am far less interested in spending time with them. I want a submissive who is seeing me because of who I am. Not because of a photo or because I was who came up when they googled “NYC Dominatrix”. They have to want to build a relationship with me, specifically. I also want them to keep checking my website. It evolves with me. Sometimes on a daily basis. Minor changes can mean a lot.
